Hi there. Some news: my etsy shop will be closing. It is time for an end to the Starry Cauldron. For now, I’ve got etsy in vacation mode while I figure out what to do and how I want to do it. There are a lot of reasons. I was already feeling it die off and processing all that for some time now. And then I heard about Etsy charging the shit out of their sellers while their profits are soaring, so that was the confirmation I needed. I’m not sure which direction I want to go. I mean, what I desire is to write more books but I am not sure if that means I won’t be offering my work anywhere else. Maybe I’ll do a pop up shop situation here and there instead of an official shop. Who knows? I really feel this is a good time to try something really unconventional. There is something that shifts when you realize you have nothing to lose, that freedom that rushes in. It’s terrifying but I’m just at that point where I’m tired of beating my head against a wall. When things are done, they are just done.

I’m rebranding to carrieblueberry, although “rebranding” makes me want to barf. It’s just a cute name people used to call me and it feels like it captures my frequency. It’s open enough to allow whatever expansion will happen. I’ll be changing this website as well. Slowly. I currently have zero energy after working deliveries all week. Burn out is real.

If you have a question or a request for art or anything else on your mind, please reach out and ask. I’ll see what I can do.
